While incorporating dead things into robots, some scientists turned a dead spider into a robot-like gripper, enabling it to pick up items. Spiders use hydraulics to force their blood version (hemolymph) into their limbs, which creates a body extension, making this research work.

5. Green funerals

In 2019, the late Luke Perry, an actor, was laid to rest in a bespoke mushroom suit courtesy of a startup technological innovation called Coeio. According to Coeio, toxin-neutralizing microorganisms that help the body to decompose are derived from a decaying body.
